Terms & conditions

Placing Order
Choose the products in your shopping cart. Always set the shipping country first for verifying the shipping cost. Check the value of the shopping cart and your shipping address. Confirm the order. System redirects you to the bank page. Choose the payment option. If there is a problem with paying, please contact: customerservice@acolyth.com. Please note that you can also pay your order by Paypal if you have a credit card. You will not need a personal Paypal account in that case. When the webshop has received your order, you will get an order confirmation by e-mail.

Payment
For international customers we accept Visa, Visa Electron, Mastercard and PayPal (all creditcards). For Finnish customers we have all local debit cards, Visa, Mastercard, Visa Electron and Paypal. The payments are secured (SSL) by Finnish online payment provider Checkout Finland (checkout.fi).  

Shipping
We ship orders using the Finnish Post. In some cases the shipping company may change to another when the package crosses the country border making tracking possibility unavailable. You can see all shipping costs on the Shipping costs page. All orders are shipped from Finland. Acolyth is not responsible for any duties and taxes.  

Shipping in Finland
The order is delivered to your post office as a priority package, regular letter or maxi letter. You can pick up the order from the post office after receiving notification. Orders are stored in the post office during the arrival week + 2 weeks onwards. For priority packages you will get a tracking code. You can pick up the parcel from Helsinki store as well. This option is free.

Returns and exchanges - Finnish customers - +5% return gift card benefit
You have 14 days return and change option for all your purchases. The returning items should be posted during that time to Acolyth store. You can also always choose to change your item to another. If you decide to return the order, you will get +5% extra benefit if you choose a gift card instead of a money refund. That way you get back 5% more than the sum of purchase was. Always contact customerservice@acolyth.com first before returning the goods. Pack the product well, use the original package if possible. Send the package to: Acolyth store, Fredrikinkatu 24, 00120 Helsinki. Mark your own name and address as sender. Please keep the postage receipt and tracking code. The products have to be unused and unworn. Tags and labels need to be intact and on their original places. We accept only returns you have informed us by email and posted in 14 days from the order arrival. Acolyth refunds the value of the order to your bank account or Paypal account except return shipping costs.

Returns & exchanges - foreign customers - + 5% return gift card benefit
Acolyth e-store follows general EU return policy. You have 10 days to return or change your purchase. You can always change a discounted product/s to another OR if you want to return your goods, you can choose a gift card. If you have ordered normal priced products, you will get +5% extra benefit if you choose a gift card instead of a money refund. That way you save transferring costs and you get back 5% more money than the price of the products was. Always contact customerservice@acolyth.com first. Pack the product well, using the original package if possible. Send the package to: Acolyth, Fredrikinkatu 24, 00120 Helsinki, Finland. Please keep the postage receipt and tracking code. We refund any sums except for money transferring costs, postage, shipping, handling and packaging. The order sum will be compensated via Paypal reduced by transferring fee. When changing product to a different size the customer pays the shipping of a new item. It is of crucial importance that you inform the customer service of all returns. Otherwise handling and processing of your case may take a longer. We only accept returns you have informed the shop by email and posted in 10 days from arrival.

Tracking orders
If the shipping option is post package, you can track the package on the website www.posti.fi. If the delivery is not fetched in spite of notifications, for instance due to erroneous contact details given by the customer, it will be sent back to Acolyth. In that case the new shipping cost will be added to the order sum.

Gift cards and other campaign benefits
You can only use one benefit at a time. A gift card cannot be transformed into money and it is valid for a limited time. If you return a product paid with a gift card or a discount, the gift card or the discount will be returned to you in its full value. After that this gift card is valid  for two weeks. In case you have received the gift card due to your shopping cart reaching a certain value, but afterwards you return one or all the items, your gift card is no longer valid, as the current value of the shopping cart does not entitle you to the benefit.  

Forge majeure
The seller is not responsible for delays caused by a force majeure or for intermediary hindrances caused by defect quality of goods or delayed delivery. The seller is not responsible for the delays, losts or damages caused by third parties. The seller has the right to modify the terms of delivery. Before placing an order the customer has to familiarize themselves with the delivery terms valid at that time.

The personal details of the customer are saved into Acolyth’s customer service register. Acolyth does not give its customer details to third parties under any circumstances. By registering into the customer register the customer has agreed to Acolyth using their information in communication between Acolyth and the customer. Acolyth additionally holds the right to use the customer’s contact information for its mobile and e-mail marketing. The customer has the right to check their personal details, make changes to them or delete them from the register completely. The customer is responsible for all actions performed in the webshop under their username and password and they must ensure that the use of them respects the conditions stated in this agreement. The customer is responsible for keeping their password secret. The customer accepts to obey by law and good manners in using the service.
